What an unbelievable way to wrap up the 2025/26 season!
Over two incredible nights at the Brewdog Stadium, the Rainford Ladies Athletic family came together to celebrate a year of hard work, immense growth, and—most importantly—unforgettable fun. The energy in the room was absolutely electric, proving once again why RLA is such a special club to be a part of.
The celebrations captured the incredible pathway we’ve built here at Rainford. We kicked things off with the absolute joy of our youngest Wildcats, who are just beginning their football journeys with huge smiles, and moved all the way up through our fiercely competitive youth teams to our Open Age squad and the magnificent Lionesses. Seeing the youngest girls looking up to the senior players reminded everyone what this club is all about: community, inspiration, and lifelong friendships.
A massive thank you goes out to the parents, families, and brilliant coaches who filled the room to applaud every single player. Without your endless driving, washing of muddy kits, and sideline cheering, none of this would be possible.
While every single player who wore the RLA badge this season deserves a medal for their dedication, a few special awards were handed out to recognise outstanding performance, teamwork, and club spirit.
