Player Pathway

Your journey starts here.

At Rainford Ladies Athletic, we’re proud to offer a clear and supportive pathway for every player — from first kicks to open-age football.

Our goal is to help girls and women build confidence, develop their skills and find lifelong enjoyment in the game.

Each stage focuses on fun, teamwork and personal growth, ensuring every player can progress at their own pace.

Wildcats (Ages 5–8)

The perfect introduction to football — fun, friendly sessions where girls learn basic skills, make friends and fall in love with the game.

Foundation Teams (U8–U11)

Players join their first Rainford Ladies teams, learning to work together, understand the game and build confidence through regular training and matches.

Youth Teams (U12–U16)

As skills and understanding grow, players compete in local leagues, focusing on teamwork, development and preparing for the next stage of their journey.

Senior & Social Football (Ages 16+)

From our U18s to Open Age and She Inspires sessions, we offer football for everyone — whether you’re looking to compete, develop your game, or just enjoy playing in a fun, social environment.
